PhotobucketWhy Be Frugal?

I consider frugality an art form and a religious conviction. I learned about paying cash for purchases, recycling and reusing just about everything and being generous to friends and those in need from my parents.

My faith instructs me all things are gifted by God and so I am compelled to be a good steward of my gifts. [The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to man. Psalm 115:16]

Treats for our Troops

My friend, Lori, posted this information on her site, More With Less Today:

Operation Gratitude – Halloween Candy buy back program

Many dentists will buy back your unwanted candy and then send the candy to our troops. What a great program! The participating dentists will give you $1.00 per pound for up to 5 pounds per person.

The program is called Operation Gratitude and click HERE to read the details and to find a participating dentist in your area.

What a great way to say "Thanks" for serving our country:-)

Thanks, Lori, for this great information!

I am starting to live this way, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I find more value in life, as I am valuing it myself. Thanks for sharing.
